DESCRIPTION:The Plant Clinic formerly held at the South End Service Center in Midway will be held at the Navarre Library on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m\, except for the 2nd Wednesday of each month.\n\nPlant clinics provide UF backed and research-based information on all matters related to plants and insects. Issues inhibiting plant growth are diagnosed and strategies are developed to overcome them. Issues may include pathogens\, insect damage\, and environmental factors. SUMMARY:Women 2 Women Connecting Floral Arranging Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to a special Women 2 Women Connecting event in May\, with a group flower arranging activity sponsored by Everything Palms Partners\, Laurent Haggett and Grocery Concierge/My Home Watch Concierge\, Gretchen Ludwig!\n\nThe activity sponsors will be providing each registered attendee with an empty vase and an assortment of stems. Experienced floral designer\, and Lauren’s Mom\, Ginger Laughlin will guide the group as we turn basic grocery store blooms into a beautiful custom arrangement! Attendees will leave with their personal creation and tips they can use to create beautiful bouquets for themselves\, family and friends anytime!\n\nThe mission of Women 2 Women Connecting is to provide female business owners\, managers and employees the opportunity to meet\, advise\, support\, mentor\, connect and encourage one another in order to promote the success of their businesses\, as well as providing opportunities for the members and guests to connect and learn more about each other and the community.\n\nThe monthly meetings will be focused on providing relevant programming to professional women\, encourage networking\, and offer a venue to share ideas\, success stories and best practices with other women in the local community.Each month\, to keep it easy\, lunch will be provided at a cost of $15 for Chamber Members and $20 for Guests. RSVP Required.\n\nThe Women 2 Women Connecting will take place on the 3rd Wednesday of each month\, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Hampton Inn by Hilton\, 7710 Navarre Parkway.\n\nAll women in the Navarre area are invited to attend.
