DESCRIPTION:The NBSTCC has partnered with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and Loggerhead Marine Life Center on a marine debris cleanup initiative. \nThe Trash Bash was the idea of one of our volunteers and originally began as a local beach cleanup.  It has expanded into a global effort to collect data on marine debris and its effect on marine life\, specifically sea turtles. \nThis is a Citizen Science Program that allows volunteers from all walks of life to participate and take an active role in the war against marine debris. \nVolunteers collect trash from different areas along the 4.5 miles of Navarre Beach and record data that is forwarded to state and federal agencies. \nThe Trash Bash is held the last Saturday of each month.

DESCRIPTION:Toddler Time is a program for children ages 18 to 36 months who attend with a caregiver. One child and one adult register together for songs\, stories\, rhymes\, and other fun activities. These interactions will be one-on-one; therefore\, each child must attend with a separate caregiver. You will also be given ideas to use at home which reinforce the theme for the day. This program lasts 20 minutes.\n\nToddler Time requires registration; space is limited. It is not a drop-in program. Registration begins August 19 at your library; visit your library for a registration form.\n\nThe fall session of Toddler Time runs from September 16 – December 6. DESCRIPTION:The Navarre Jingle Bell Run is a non-competitive\, family-friendly event in Navarre\, Florida. The Navarre Chamber Foundation organizes the run to help people get into the holiday spirit. The first 200 registrants will receive long-sleeve t-shirts made for the event. Race packets can be picked up on Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Fire Station or on Race Day from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. at the Fire Station. Participants will receive a jingle bell and are encouraged to dress up for the season. Sign yourself\, your family\, and your kids up for this huge community event supporting local development!
